Tell us a little about Kettle...

This is a Pretend and Play green toy kettle originally from Sainsbury’s. We originally purchased this about 8 years ago. It comes with a yellow lid but this is not vital. It makes a bubbling sound and the switch turns red when pressed, this is vital that this works.

Can you tell us any specific details about Kettle - who made it, where it came from, etc

It was from Sainsbury’s. Sainsbury’s own make Pretend & Play. I haven’t contacted them.

Why is Kettle so important?

Thomas has played with this kettle on and off for the last 8 years, however for the last year or so it has become a favourite. He can spend all day with it in his hand. He loves pressing the button and listening to it boiling, holding it right to his ear. He gets a lot of joy out of it. However recently the kettle has started to wear out as he will often drop it or bang it. The mechanism inside isn’t very strong so even when taken apart and fixed they don’t last long. We have been through a few recently and I think I have bought all the available second hand ones! Thomas becomes frustrated and upset when they no longer work.

How would you describe the current situation?

We have one fully working kettle, and two that are hit and miss and on their way out! We would love some spares as the don’t seem to last Thomas very long.

Thomas is such a happy boy, he faces many challenges in life but always manages to smile, we want him to be able to have and enjoy the things he loves. Thank you 💖

The way this works is not magic, it’s all about SHARING.  If you want to help Thomas find some Sainsbury’s Pretend & Play green and blue kettles we need you to like and share this search with all your family and friends, but importantly, we need you to tell them to do the same.

Chances are none of our amazing Followers has one of these in a cupboard, but if you all share it, and those people share it too, and so on, someone down the line may well have one, and if they see the picture pop up in their feed they may well be able to help Thomas.

Liking and commenting is good too!
